My Years of Reading Flash Cards and Watching Dora
I learned to read from watching Dora. And my mother and sister putting words on flash cards for me.
I would read nothing but Dora books. If I saw a word. From one of the flash cards my mom made me. I would shout it out and laugh. I would say the word every time I saw it.
After a while I finnally got the reading down. I would make my sister and my mother listen to me read. Even when I would read them the book backwards.
Now that im older I like to read. But not Dora I guess from me reading and watching her. So much when I was little. I grew up and I don’t like to watch her as much anymore. But I teached my younger sister to read off of Dora. And she stills love it when I would read her a Dora book.
You didnt use alot of detail on how you learned how to read.
ReplyDeleteYou should have used more details and reread this before posting. I can't believe that you started reading through Dora,my sister is the same way about Dora now like you was when you were younger.=)
